As you’ll see, I haven’t been posting often enough cause I have lots of pictures to share! My sweet boy is just that…a little boy. He is so fun and I’ve been amazed lately at how much more he is beginning to talk. He’s starting to put words together: ”baseball,” “mommy’s shoes,” “daddy work,” “daddy’s office.” I was totally taken off guard yesterday morning when we sat down to eat some pancakes for breakfast and he said “mommy share dip-dip.” (Dip-dip is how he refers to syurp, ketchup, or pretty much anything else you can dip your food into.) It was too funny. He loves to watch baseball and he’ll swing his plastic bat and try to hit the ball on the floor.
Cohen is also obsessed…and I do literally mean OBSESSED…with pretty much anything that has a motor and runs…mainly mixers, vacuum cleaners, our shredder, fans and most recently the lawn mower. He LOVES it when Christian (or anyone in our neighborhood for that matter) mows the lawn. Here he is helping daddy mow the grass…
He loves it so much that I decided to get him his own mower. He has played with it constantly…
The other day he kept trying to tell us something and we couldn’t really make out what he was saying. In a little while he came back with this book pointing at these gloves…
…and then he would say mower. We finally figured out that he was wanting to mow with his gloves on just like daddy! So, I pulled out his winter mittens and off he went…
Living his dream here…helping daddy mow the lawn…
Now for some other miscellaneous pictures from this past month…
He loves playing with one of Christian’s old headsets…really looks like he is on an important phone call…
Showing his support and muscles for Aunt Melissa before she ran her marathon…
Finding a good place to sit and look at books…
Riding and loving the train at the zoo…
Eating his favorite breakfast of banana pancakes and showing me his new “cheese” face…
Trying his hand at teaching our Thursday night bible study…
He still doesn’t really get the concept of blowing…he just sticks his lips out…
Cohen scraped up his knee the other day and we put a bandaid on it. Since then he asks for bandaids all the time. This time it ended up on his head (again, showing off his new “cheese” face)…
Cohen was playing outside the other day while Christian was grilling and Christian had come in for something and he walked out just in time to see Cohen stick a spoonful of mud in his mouth…YUCK!
Cohen saw Audrey’s potty the other day and since then he has been asking about the potty so I decided to go buy one, put it by the toilet and just see what happens. I’ll be taking this one back because the front lip isn’t quite tall enough for a little boy. This is where I need your help (especially you mommas of little boys)…is it better to buy one like this that sits on the floor or one that will sit on the big toilet?? Either way…I think he looks adorable sitting on his little potty…
And one last picture of his cheesy grin…
Happy 20 month birthday, Cohen! I love you!

I am so impressed by Cohen getting a book to show you what he wanted, what a smart boy! My training potty was one that sat on the floor but you could also take the top part off and put it on the big potty, so we have used ours both ways.

SO cute! He is so smart! Love him to pieces. That muscles picture is by far one of my favorites ever! Thanks for the support, Cohen! I love you!

He is so cute! I always used the seat that sits on the potty so I didn’t have to clean the little one. Just flush and go!

I love his new cheesy grin! But nothing takes the place of those lip pictures. Also, him helping Daddy mow is so, so sweet.

Melanie, Coen is SO adorable. I love it that he wants to be just like his daddy. The lawn mower gloves are very cute!
