I’m so thankful to have such a wonderful husband who is also an amazing father. He adores Cohen and Cohen adores him. It is so great to see them play and interact together. To honor Christian this year we did a couple of things. He got this as an early Father’s Day gift on Thursday…
The buns are cupcakes, the patty is a brownie and the fries are sugar cookies. I wish I could take credit for coming up with this, but I’m afraid I can’t. The idea came from Bakerella and if you haven’t seen her blog before you should definitely check it out. It’s amazing.
Then this morning we gave him a couple of cards and these pictures in a frame.
Happy Father’s Day, Christian! I love you!

Too Cute!! I’ve seen that idea before, but with vanilla wafers as the bun and thin mint cookies as the patty…everything else the same! I love it!

I love the pictures you gave him, especially how original each one is - but my fave is where Cohen is “peeking” through the D, it looks like he’s growling! And I saw the burgers on her website - big kudos to you, they looked like a lot of trouble and you did an amazing job!

Wow! I thought the burgers were real! I thought, “Awww, she made Christian his father’s day dinner… not a casserole… just good ol’ American food he loves!” They were adorable! Love the picture! Creative!!! I might just try that next year with my 3 kids!
