Happy Father’s Day

I am so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is also an amazing father.  I’m daily amazed at his love for the boys, his willingness to spend time with them and love on them.  So fun to watch.  Here are our traditional Father’s Day pics for Christian… (sorry it’s so small).

At mother’s day out, Cohen said the following things about Christian…

My dad is “100″ years old.

My dad likes to wear “cowboy stuff.”

My dad cooks “sausage and noodles and pizza.”

I like it when my dad “plays with me.”

My dad calls me “Cohen.”

I like to go to “the donut store” with my dad.

My dad likes to relax by “eating cookies.”

Happy Father’s Day!

The Land

Saturday we went out to  John & Jacki’s land to spend the day just playing and hanging out.  It was so fun.  We all had a blast riding 4 wheelers and the go cart.

I got the strangest feeling when I shot this next picture…it was like my mind jumped ahead to the day Cohen would be driving away with Keegan in the passenger seat.  Glad we still have 13 or so years before that happens!

Keegan got to break in the baby swing…

John took Cohen fishing and they caught 5 fish!

It was a blast!!

Easter 2011

What a fun Easter!  We colored Easter eggs…

And had a wonderful day with family and friends.  Here are the boys with their Easter eggs…

The best shot we got as a family… (don’t know what was going on to our right, but Keegan never took his eyes off of it).

Randomness

Just a few random pics today.  First, a flashback to Valentine’s Day and Cohen’s lovely cookie decorating…

Thanks to my friend, Amber, for passing on this picture of Cohen and one of the monkeys at the zoo.  Looks like the monkey knows what to do when the camera comes out!

Cohen showing off his newest tricks…

(yes, that is the string from our blinds that he has tied through the nets…)

Sweet brothers…

Cohen and daddy playing David & Goliath…they each got a turn at being Goliath…

Keegan in his big boy car seat for the first time!

Not much going on around here currently.  Cohen has started blast ball practice with his first game just a few weeks away, so pics of that are sure to come.  We were also able to get Keegan’s one year pictures done this week, so stay tuned for those as well!

SNOW!

Having lived in Texas my whole life I shouldn’t be surprised when one day the weather is so nice we can do this…

…and the next day looks like this…

CRAZY!  The days of ice were no fun, but the snow is another story.  It’s so pretty and so FUN!!  Cohen and I got out while Keegan was napping this morning and played.  Cohen loves eating the snow (and insisted on wearing my beanie)…

Making a snow angel…

I even decided to get in on the action…

This afternoon, we all bundled up and headed out.  Keegan wasn’t so sure about the snow at first…

but did manage to flash a few smiles…

Since we don’t have a sled, Christian improvised a bit with one of our laundry baskets and a belt…

Keegan’s turn…

Then it was time to pack up and head in.  Poor little guy look SO cold….

Fun times!!  Now that I think of it, we had this same sort of weather last year just before Keegan was born.
