I always look forward to Christmas, but this year was extra special. For the first time in the 11 years that we have been married we were at our house on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with just our family. We started our festivities on Christmas Eve with an early dinner with some of our dearest friends. Christy and I whipped up an awesome dinner complete with ham, cherry sauce, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, bacon wrapped green beans and rolls. It was delicious!

After dinner we stopped by Starbucks to pick up some drinks and headed home to open our Christmas Eve gifts. Cohen was super excited when he opened his (although I’m not sure he really knew what it was at this point in time).

Hard to believe Keegan is almost 2! He’s becoming very independent…one of his favorite things to say right now is, “I do it!” He’s also very curious and interested in what we are doing…he’s always asking, “Doing, mommy/daddy?” So cute. He loves preschool and Mrs. Denise, his teacher. Here are some cute pictures from the past month…

Are we already half way through November?? Whew… Unfortunately my memory of Keegan’s past month is going to be of the past week. He was SO SO sick. It started out as a cold and turned into croup. Then he got a double ear infection. Then he either caught a stomach bug or just coughed so much he couldn’t keep anything down. It was down right miserable for everyone. Poor little guy…the coughing was the worst. I hope we never have to deal with croup again!!
I also realized that I did a terrible job of taking pictures this past month. (Sure to change with the holidays around the corner)!
So, just a few pics of my sweetie (who is finally doing better by the way).
Keegan loves being with Cohen and doing everything that Cohen does. He especially loves putting on Cohen’s clothes and shoes…
