This and That…

No real theme for this post, just some random pictures I’ve taken over the last few weeks to keep the fam happy and up to date!

I LOVE babies in “real” clothes, here’s Keegan’s first “real” outfit…

Cuddling up on daddy’s chest…

Ahhh, so sweet…

But, back to reality quickly…

Keegan, looking so much like Christian to me…

Definitely looks guilty…

If Keegan gets to do something, Cohen needs to do it too…

This…

and this…

leads to this…

Isn’t this pout just pitiful?!

This is one of my new favorite pictures of Cohen…

This morning was Doughnuts for Dad at Cohen’s preschool.  We’re so thankful that Christian has the flexibility with his work to do things like this.  The funny thing is I can still remember my dad going with me to a similar thing when I was young.  Fun times!!

And yes, that is a carpet burn on Cohen’s nose…we were playing airplane and I unintentionally made him nose dive into the floor.  OUCH!!

I’m Thankful For…

Many of you have inspired me to come up with my own list of things I’m thankful for.  I’m sure it’s incomplete, but here’s what I’ve come up with for now, in no real particular order.  More to come from our Thanksgiving festivities later!  Hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Jesus Christ, forgiveness from sin, my husband (keeps Cohen while I’m at work, changes diapers, gives baths, cooks dinner, does laundry, reads books, plays, teaches…just wonderful), Cohen, the baby inside me, kicks from the baby inside me, my family (in-laws included!), the looks Christian and I exchange when Cohen does or says something funny, Cohen’s excitement when I come home from work, Cohen’s amazement over the “pretty lights”…aka Christmas lights, my health, healthy pregnancies, the health of my family, friends, date night, our house, our backyard, cars that run, clothes to wear, food to eat, Christmas music, our church, Thursday night bible studies, bubble baths, my job and the security it brings, naps, Christian’s ability to work from home, the time Christian spends with Cohen, email, amazon.com, sales at The Children’s Place, Starbucks, Friday from 9-2, Friday at 2, Disney movies, bath crayons, wearing scrubs to work, sports on TV, the changing of the seasons, hot water in the shower, gift cards, my watch, hand sanitizer, parks, Tony Romo helmets, elastic waistbands, Netfilx night with the hubby, DVR, Mad Men, Unwrapped, the men and women who fight for our country, freedom, my toothbrush, web cams, bunko night, extra pillows, the ability to read and Cohen’s excitement to do so, Cohen’s ABC’s and 123’s, my senses, any restaurant that keeps me from cooking, Bakerella, sleep, dishwashers, calendar reminders, skinnamarinkydinkydink (sung by Cohen, of course).

This and That

Well, yesterday marked 12 weeks of being pregnant…can’t believe the first trimester is almost over already.  I’m still feeling good and am definitely starting to outgrow my pants.  I forgot to take an 8 week belly shot, but here’s my 12 week belly…

We go back to the doctor August 20th and I can hardly wait!!

This is just a pic of me and my sis…love her!!

Christian and I were able to get all gussied up and have a night out this past weekend as we helped celebrate the marriage of our good friends, Chris & Mindy Geddie!!  I know my face doesn’t show it in this picture but I really was excited and happy to be having a night out with my hubby!!

I forgot my camera, but you can see a pic of the lovely bride and groom over on Amber’s blog.

And so he’s not left out, a few pics of Cohen…it actually cooled off around here last week and we were able to spend some pleasant times outside…

Check it out…
