I always look forward to Christmas, but this year was extra special. For the first time in the 11 years that we have been married we were at our house on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with just our family. We started our festivities on Christmas Eve with an early dinner with some of our dearest friends. Christy and I whipped up an awesome dinner complete with ham, cherry sauce, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, bacon wrapped green beans and rolls. It was delicious!

After dinner we stopped by Starbucks to pick up some drinks and headed home to open our Christmas Eve gifts. Cohen was super excited when he opened his (although I’m not sure he really knew what it was at this point in time).

Being silly in the tub…
The past several weeks we’ve been going to an open play time at the Grapevine Community Center. This day, Audrey was taking Cohen for a ride on her motorcycle. Can they get any cuter?!?
Fun on the boogie board…only wish we were using it in the ocean!

Saturday we went out to John & Jacki’s land to spend the day just playing and hanging out. It was so fun. We all had a blast riding 4 wheelers and the go cart.
I got the strangest feeling when I shot this next picture…it was like my mind jumped ahead to the day Cohen would be driving away with Keegan in the passenger seat. Glad we still have 13 or so years before that happens!
Keegan got to break in the baby swing…
John took Cohen fishing and they caught 5 fish!
It was a blast!!
