Summer Fun - Conclusion

Although our summer is not quite over yet, I think this will catch me up to date.  Whew…note to self:  don’t get so far behind on blogging again!

Being silly in the tub…

The past several weeks we’ve been going to an open play time at the Grapevine Community Center.  This day, Audrey was taking Cohen for a ride on her motorcycle.  Can they get any cuter?!?

Fun on the boogie board…only wish we were using it in the ocean!

Cooling off…

Right now the boys both love to help me clean…I’m documenting this for future reference.

Summer Fun - Part 2

We spent some time in New Mexico this summer celebrating Monga & Ponga’s 60th anniversary.  Good times!!  The boys had to have their hot tub time with GranZ…

And Cohen decided he needed yet another head wound…

DINOSAURS!

So I found a lot of pictures I haven’t posted over the summer, so get ready!  We’ll start with some from the dinosaur exhibit they had at the Ft. Worth Zoo this summer.  It was really neat and Cohen LOVED it!  He can tell you the names of almost all of the dinosaurs.  Fun times!

And his absolute favorite…the T-REX!

Keegan - 18 Months

I can’t believe it’s been a month since I posted anything.  My apologies to my family and any others who look here for updates.  Keegan is 18 months old today!  Hard to believe, yet I’m loving being done with the baby stage and getting more and more into the toddler stage.  The past few weeks, he’s really began to look more like a kid and less like a baby to me.  Keegan is so fun and keeps us smiling a lot.  He has had his grumpy moments this past month as all four of his molars are pushing through the gum.  OUCH!  He is also showing us that he is much more strong willed than his older counter part.  What worked for Cohen is definitely not what is going to work for Keegan, so back to the drawing board we go.  Keegan can count to 10 and is getting more and more into reading books.  I love when I read to him and he says the last word of each sentence that I read.  He likes to sing and dance.  His eating preferences are becoming more picky and the only vegetable he’ll eat consistently is green beans.  I realize now that I was pretty awful at taking pictures over this past month, but here’s a few cute ones I did get.

Playing with the finger paints for the first time…

Fun in the tub…

Keegan LOVES playing trains.  He’ll line them up all in a row and say “choo, choo”…

Lounging around outside…

Doughnut, what doughnut??

First time on the jet ski…he enjoyed it…

Happy 18 months, Keegan!  I love you!
